Mkamburi Chigogo Criticises Kanyari For His Actions

Media personality Mkamburi Chigogo has commented on Pastor Victor Kanyari’s recent involvement following the death of his former wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.

Kanyari has been actively participating in updates, funeral preparations, and other arrangements and was reportedly seen in an emotional state during the process.

Chigogo on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, said, “Because you can clearly see, Kanyari is now behaving like the husband. Lakini na yeye Kanyari…wanaume… Remember when I said men take their wives for granted until they die? And then hapo ndio mtu sasa analeta sarakasi.”

Pastor Kanyari has also shared his own emotional response to Betty Bayo’s death. On his official social media channels, the Salvation Healing Ministry founder posted a tribute reflecting on the loss of someone who remained significant in his life despite their separation.

“It hurts in ways I can’t explain. You left before I could say everything I needed to. I still see you in every laugh our children give, in every little habit that reminds me of you,” he wrote.

Kanyari’s tribute and involvement in funeral preparations show his grief and the connection he continues to have with Bayo’s memory. His actions have drawn public attention, partly because of the emotional nature of his participation and the visible role he has taken in ensuring arrangements are managed.

His behaviour reflects a personal need to honour his former spouse while supporting their children during a difficult time.

Chigogo pointed out Kanyari’s actions but also spoke about how some people only realise the value of their loved ones after they are gone. Her words reminded many about the need to appreciate those close to us while they are still alive.

The talk has continued online, but at the heart of it all is the message about family, love, and standing together during hard times.

Pastor Kanyari’s actions, both public and private, show the emotional impact of Betty Bayo’s death on her immediate family and those close to her. His tribute and participation provide insight into his feelings and the respect he continues to have for her memory and the mother of his two children.
