Prophet Owuor Issues Prophecy Over 2027 General Elections

Controversial preacher Prophet David Owuor has claimed to have received a prophecy concerning the 2027 General Election, warning that significant challenges will mark the period.

Speaking during an interview conducted by Samira Mohammed of TV47, published on the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness YouTube channel on Sunday, February 8, Owuor stated that God had spoken to him about the country’s election period, noting that it will be potentially the 'most challenging moment Kenya will experience since its birth'.

Prophet Owuor describes seeing 'unbelievable contestation', a return of something he describes as 'incredible and out of control' and that the situation during the election period will be that which is almost unsalvageable.

“The Lord has spoken to me about 2027, and we have even tried to transmit the same message to the leaders. I want this country to know that 2027 is coming, and the lord almighty has shown that it will be the most challenging time this country has seen since the birth of this nation. If I go into the graphics the Lord has shown me, I think you will even lie on your belly right now and start crying for the Lord,” he stated.

“I have seen unbelievable contestation. I have seen the Gen Z come back in a manner you have never seen. I do not want to describe the details; it is just unbelievable and out of control,” he added.

However, the prophet emphasised that despite the prophecy, God might still show mercy to Kenya if Kenyans repent and turn to the Lord. He called for national repentance, suggesting that if the nation repents, God will relent and help the country.

“The Lord has called for repentance because he is fair and just. If you repent, then this will not happen unto you. That is why the Lord is calling for repentance,” he noted.

According to the prophet, the nation had better brace itself for an unbelievable moment during the elections if the country does not repent, describing that at one point, the situation will run out of control.

He then expressed his belief that the country will embrace repentance, calling on the government to organise a national repentance day in 2026 for the nation to repent and avoid the prophesied difficulties.

“There is a window here in 2026 that I strongly believe the nation will repent and the Lord will relent. As you look to 2027, please organise a national repentance day. Let it not find you unrepentant,” he said.

His recent claims of prophecy about the 2027 elections follow another prophecy in 2025, where he allegedly predicted that the world would end on August 2, 2025. He, however, distanced himself from the claims, terming them false and malicious.

Beyond his prophecies, Owuor has recently drawn attention after a rally in Nakuru, where he claimed to have healed attendees of chronic illnesses, including HIV and AIDS.
