Willis Raburu Reacts After Manchester United Lose To Everton

Willis Raburu did not hold back after Manchester United failed to beat 10-man Everton in their match on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Everton played more than 80 minutes with one man down, yet Manchester United still could not come out with a win.

Raburu immediately reacted on Instagram, calling out the team’s performance with sharp and emotional words.

Raburu said, “10 men! For over 80 minutes, and we don’t win! Absolute rubbish! No composure, no resolve, just a drab performance! Anyway, onward and upwards! Bitterly disappointing anniversary for Amorim! Nkt! On to the next, still better than LIVERPOOL. Mwenye alikua wetu, fala kabisa. 10 men. Nonsense. Lakini ni kwa sababu ukiwatch game na hawa watu…sigh.”

His message showed just how tired he is of the team’s repeated failures.

Raburu’s frustration came on a night when Manchester United had a perfect chance to move into the top. With a lopsided advantage, they were expected to control the game, create chances, and win comfortably.

Instead, their attack was flat and lacked any real threat. The team looked lost, and that pushed Raburu into one of his strongest reactions yet.

What angered Raburu even more was what could have been a simple win for Manchester United. This is not the first time the former journalist has complained about his favourite team.

He said that the match was not only disappointing but also a wasted opportunity for a team that continues to fall short when it matters most.

His rant captured a mixture of exhaustion, disbelief, and the helplessness that comes when a club refuses to rise to the moment. To him, this was not just another bad game; it was a reminder of how far the team had drifted from consistency.

Even as he closed his message by saying “onward and upwards,” it is seen that Raburu was left with little faith. Yesterday’s match gave him more reason to question the team’s direction and its ability to deliver when everything is in their favour.
