Zuchu has dismissed claims circulating online that her husband, Diamond Platnumz, lost his Pepsi endorsement due to political issues.
The allegations spread widely on social media after posts questioned whether the artist’s recent political engagements had affected his corporate partnerships.
Zuchu’s Response to the Viral Claims
In a statement shared online, Zuchu termed the reports as false, insisting that Diamond Platnumz remains a brand ambassador for the global beverage company.
According to her, the claims were “fake news” and did not reflect the status of the partnership.
“Pepsi did not drop him. He is still very much their ambassador,” Zuchu said, addressing the topic that had generated debate among fans of both artists and followers of regional entertainment news
Her response followed hours of speculation triggered by social media posts that questioned why Diamond Platnumz had not recently featured in new Pepsi promotional content.
The rumours quickly spread across gossip pages, prompting discussions on whether the company had ended their collaboration.
How the Story Emerged
The speculation began after online users noted that Diamond Platnumz had been publicly involved in political discussions and public appearances that attracted national attention.
Some social media accounts suggested that these activities might have influenced his commercial endorsements, specifically his long-standing partnership with Pepsi.
Screenshots and commentary claiming the artist had been dropped circulated widely, with some users alleging a link between his political engagements and his corporate relationship with the beverage brand.
The discussions gained traction, drawing reactions from fans, industry watchers and online gossip platforms.
As the rumours intensified, several entertainment pages amplified the claims, prompting further speculation.

The conversation grew prominent enough that Zuchu addressed it directly, dismissing the allegations and clarifying that Diamond Platnumz’s contract with the company remained active.
Diamond Platnumz has been associated with Pepsi for several years, serving as one of the brand’s key ambassadors in Tanzania and across the region.
His image has appeared in multiple campaigns, including television commercials, billboards, digital advertisements and event partnerships.
The endorsement is considered one of the most recognisable collaborations between a Tanzanian artist and a global brand.
The persistence of the rumour drew public interest partly because of the scale of his visibility under the Pepsi banner.
