Ruth K, ex-partner of comedian Mulamwah, has shared her joyful update on her social media, proudly displaying a full set of teeth and expressing her happiness about moving forward.

This personal milestone comes months after a highly publicised and acrimonious breakup with Mulamwah, which saw him controversially demanding the return of dental work he had funded.

The Tumultuous Breakup

The public spat between Mulamwah and Ruth K erupted around June 19, 2025, quickly becoming an explosive chapter in Kenya’s entertainment scene. 

Ruth initially accused Mulamwah of disrespecting her post-breakup by sharing a photo of her and their son. She also alleged he reversed a KES 5,000 payment, adding to her emotional distress.

Mulamwah, in turn, launched a "fiery response," claiming Ruth had singlehandedly destroyed their relationship by listening to "jealous friends" and disrespecting his parents.

He further accused her of spreading harmful rumours, including adding 84 women to a WhatsApp group with a false claim about his health, which he stated cost him a comedy show sponsorship.

The Infamous 'Tooth Drama' and Public Reaction

The public fallout escalated when Mulamwah allegedly leaked private content and controversially demanded Ruth return the dental work he had funded.

He even shared a "before" photo of Ruth, showing her prior dental formula, a move that sparked widespread public backlash. Ruth’s response was swift and creative: a viral skit depicting her humorously "returning" her tooth via a boda boda rider.

A Fresh Start and a Brighter Smile

Amidst the social media storm, a compassionate offer emerged from Nairobi’s Palace Dental Centre. Director Eric Ochola publicly pledged to gift Ruth K a brand-new set of teeth, free of charge.

Ochola emphasised that "no one should ever be made to feel indebted for their smile". Ruth has since embraced this new chapter. In a recent Instagram post, she showcased her perfectly done teeth arrangement.

Ruth’s caption on her post expressed her joy and renewed confidence: "Atleast in my next relationship ntaingia na meno zote kama nyinyi wenzangu😂".
