Bongo Flava artiste, Harmonize has broken the silence on rumors of a reunion with his ex-girlfriend, actress Fridah Kajala Masanja.

The father of one daughter addressed the rumors a few weeks after rumors emerged that he had gotten back together with Kajala and even bought her a new Range Rover Defender.

Speaking to entertainment journalists at a birthday celebration for his daughter Marioo and Paula, who is Kajala's son, Harmonize said that even he has been hearing and seeing people saying that they have rekindled their love.

He denied any possibility of them coming back together, saying that they are adults who have been separate for some time each minding own business.

"No, we haven't gotten back together and I've never said that. She also hasn’t said that herself, we're adults, we've never been together and everyone has their own situation," Harmonize explained. 

However, he refused to give an explanation as to why he was referring to himself as 'grandfather' to Marioo and Paula’s daughter.

It should be remembered that when Harmonize and Kajala were dating, he referred to Paula as his daughter.

Last week after Kajala was spotted with a new Range Rover which was said to be Harmonize's, rumors increased online with some claiming that their love may have been reborn.

The move came a few days after Harmonize made it clear that he was planning to give Kajala another gift as a way to compensate her for the many things she lost due to negative publicity about their love affair.   

“I have a lot of respect for Kajala and by the grace of God, I will do something for her that will be remembered forever in her life. It doesn’t matter if she is married or not,” Harmonize said with a big smile.

When asked why this time he has softened his stance regarding the mother of one grown daughter – contrary to what he scolded her for in his song Dear Ex, Harmonize said that he has learned to respect her considering that she is older than him.

“I always speak of Kajala with respect because she is older than me. But also if you leave that aside, when I got into a relationship with her there are many things that I caused her to lose. And I can’t repay that as a human being even though we are not together now but she still deserves her respect and that is what I give her,”  he said.
