Jamaican Dancehall artiste Shenseea has opened up about her past relationship with the father of her son, sharing how things changed after they became parents.
In a recent interview, the ‘Hit & Run’ singer revealed that the bond she shared with Rob, the father of her 10-year-old son Rajeiro Lee, took a turn after childbirth.
“I don’t think you can ever find the right person to have children with because people change after you give birth. I know from experience—my child’s father and I were really close, like twins, until we had a child,” she said.
Rajeiro’s father, Robert Lindsey—known simply as Rob—was once very close to Shenseea. However, their relationship began to deteriorate after their son was born, and they eventually grew apart.

Since the start of her music career, Shenseea has received unwavering support from her manager Romeich Major, also known as RONJM. Although not Rajeiro’s biological father, Romeich has played a significant role in the child’s life, stepping in as a father figure and helping to raise him alongside the "Dating Szn" hitmaker.
Over the years, rumors have swirled regarding the identity of Rajeiro’s father, with some fans speculating that Romeich might be the biological dad due to his close involvement. However, Romeich has publicly clarified that he is not.
Despite the speculation, one thing is certain—Rajeiro is surrounded by love and support from both his mother and those close to her.
Beyond her role as a mother, Shenseea continues to shine in her music career. In 2021, she won Best Reggae Act at the MOBO Awards for her album Herself.
In 2022, she was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards for her contribution to Kanye West’s album Donda. That same year, her single R U That earned a nomination for Push Performance of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.

In 2025, Shenseea was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the Grammys for her project Never Gets Late Here. She also took home Best Caribbean Music Act at the MOBO Awards.
That year, she led the Caribbean Music Awards with seven nominations, including Artist of the Year – Female (Dancehall).
