After months of speculation, it’s now official. Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu are married.
The WCB Wasafi boss confirmed the news in a surprising Instagram post that blended deep reflection with a major life update. Known for keeping his private life under wraps, Diamond shared a heartfelt message about growth, patience, and the value of silence in the face of public scrutiny.
"Among the things I have learnt is the maturity of staying quiet. This maturity requires a high level of tolerance. It requires you to have a heart of patience, and especially to have a strong heart when someone or people are spreading evil against you in society. Then you have the truth about it, but you are supposed to remain silent and do not answer when the truth is inside..." he wrote.
Alongside the message, Diamond posted several photos that appeared to be from a private Nikah ceremony.

The couple was dressed in elegant white traditional Muslim attire, both modestly covered in line with Islamic customs.
Just when fans thought the post was purely philosophical, Diamond dropped a bombshell.
"Anyways: I know each of you has a completely different picture about Diamond Platnumz and getting married, but I just want to tell you today that Diamond Platnumz has ever been married, and there is a day I will tell you how it went," he added.
In one of the videos shared, a beaming Zuchu is seen calling Diamond “mme wangu [hubby]” and joyfully confirming, “we are married.” The singer's mother, Mama Dangote, also shared her congratulations via Instagram.

“Alhamdulilah limepita salama. Hongera mwanangu Naseeb Kichwa na Mkeo Zuhura,” she wrote.
Zuchu’s mother, legendary Taarab singer Khadijah Kopa, also joined in the celebration, posting a cheerful video marking the momentous occasion.
The couple reportedly tied the knot in a Nikah ceremony, a key part of Islamic marriage rites, which involves the presence of the bride’s wali (guardian), two Muslim witnesses, and the giving of Mahr (dowry).
