Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz brought Nairobi to a standstill on Saturday night at the Ngong Racecourse.
Diamond arrived on Friday night, had a press conference on Saturday morning and proceeded for a sound check that afternoon.
Upon his arrival, Diamond expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I am happy to be here in Kenya and to be a part of Tusker OktobaFest 2023. I promise my Kenyan and East African fans an epic show filled with the very best of my music and a few surprises. Let's make this weekend unforgettable!"
The singer got into stage at the Oktobafest accompanied by his band and dancers.
He serenaded Kenyans with some of his best hits, both classic and new including 'Bora Nienjoy' 'Yatapita' 'Zilipendwa' 'Utanipenda' among many others.
The singer said that his performance was the highlight of the festival.
The Tanzanian star shared the stage with Ndovu Kuu, Bensoul, Mejja and many others.
Mejja stepped into the stage on a hospital bed, bringing a much needed break from the norm.
Bensoul on the other hand gave fans a taste of his unreleased music.
The two Kenyans stars closed down the night.
Diamond left Nairobi on Sunday mid-morning ahead of his Wasafi festival in Kahama, Tanzania.
