Digital Content creator Diana Marua has assured her fans that their wedding, which they have been hinting at since last year, is still in the planning stages.

Although she did not reveal when exactly the wedding will take place, the mother of three explained that wedding plans are in place, and the ceremony will be huge.

“The fact that people are talking about it means that the planning is ongoing, and you only do a wedding once. I’m going to put it categorically out there, and I want my wedding to be the ‘it’ wedding. So plans are underway, and for sure it will be a big wedding,” she assured her loyal fans.

Marua told Kalondu from Mpasho that the wedding will be big, and although they do not want it to be compared to other wedding ceremonies that have happened recently.

The weddings in question were that of artist Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo in Nigeria, as well as Ohangla artist Prince Indah and his wife in Migori.

“If something is good, we’ve to give it credit, you know. You cannot be like so-and-so, who has had a wedding, and you brush it off. Remember, I’m also doing a wedding and I have to take notes here and there, but at the end of the day, my wedding will only remain my wedding.”

“Of course, with notes here and there, I have to make it special and glamorous to make myself happy, not to please people out there,” she added.

Regarding the estimated budget for their wedding, Diana Marua made it clear that she does not want to set an exact limit on the expenses.

However, she noted that she will spend according to her ability at the time, and also considering the number of attendees.

Marua said that among her upcoming major projects, on top of the list is her wedding.

“On my upcoming projects, one of them is my wedding. That’s the main thing that has consumed all our thoughts and attention. Our budget is infinite, I will not put a price tag on my wedding,” she said.

“What I am sure of is that my wedding is not going to be a one-day occasion; it is going to take a couple of days. I will not put an exact estimate of the budget because I want everything to be nice and glamorous. I totally refuse to squeeze myself,” she added.

On why they postponed their wedding that was slated for last year, Diana Marua said that it was because of their Netflix project, which consumed a lot of their time, leaving them with no option but to push it to this year.
