Tanzanian singer Harmonize has issued a firm warning to anyone linking his name to Diamond Platnumz, saying he is prepared to take legal action against persistent attempts to associate him with his former boss.
The Konde Music Worldwide founder’s statement, shared via an Instagram video on Thursday, December 11, 2025, came after social media personality Francis Majizzo claimed in an interview that Diamond fathered Harmonize’s career.
Harmonize, who parted ways with WCB years ago, said the remarks were misleading and unfair, revealing that he personally called Majizzo to caution him.
“And I was watching that interview that my brother Francis Majizzo did, and it’s a lie for him to say he is the father and all that. Well, I did not have issues with that, but the problem now comes in when he mentioned my name under Diamond. I called Majizzo and told him that that is wrong, and he said it’s going to be the last time. Because you can’t keep mentioning my name under somebody. You can’t keep mentioning my name under Diamond every day. Please,” he said.

The award-winning artiste stressed that while he acknowledges Diamond gave him an entry point into the music industry, that chapter ended long ago and should not be used to define his current status.
He insisted that continued efforts to attach his brand to Diamond are intended to undermine his growth and achievements as an independent artiste.
“I am a big fish right now. You can’t mention my name under him, and this message goes to everybody, and I want everyone to hear and get this message loud and clear. Do not mention my name under him because he does not deserve it,” he said.
“Yeah, he put me in the label at first, and I appreciate it, but he ended up asking for his money at the end. And he even asked for more money. And now look at me, what am I doing? Where is my music label?”
Harmonize went further to accuse Diamond of working behind the scenes to weaken his Konde Gang label.
He claimed that several of his signees, including Angela and Ibraah, were approached with promises that were never fulfilled, promises he believes played a role in destabilising the label.
He alleged that Angela was lured with assurances of a collaboration with Zuchu, which never materialised, while Ibraah was assisted by Diamond in securing lawyers during his exit negotiations from Konde Gang.
“All the money I was making was trying to push people so we could make money together, but he was always on my neck. Where is Angella? They took her, he took her, and showered her with fake promises and such. Oh, he told her they would take her to the hospital, even promised they would do a song with Zuchu, but where is it now? Sorry, I am mentioning her name,” the singer lamented.
According to Harmonize, the legal battle cost him nearly Tsh600 million in fines and fees, placing a huge financial strain on his operations.
“And the same case with Ibraah. He also called him the other day, and you saw that interview. He even helped him hire lawyers, and he took me to BASATA, and I was made to pay almost 600 million. It’s a lot of money,” he said.
The singer said these experiences are part of the reason he refuses to have his name repeatedly dragged into matters involving Diamond.
“I don’t wanna keep talking about this thing, but that’s why I don’t want my name to keep being dragged,” Harmonize said.
