Pritty Vishy Reacts After The Death Of A Fan During Asake's Concert

Pritty Vishy has reacted to the recent death of a fan at a concert where Nigerian singer Asake was performing, blaming poor crowd behaviour and weak control measures.

On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, she said the tragedy could have been avoided if people had followed order and discipline while entering and moving within the venue.

She explained that when people push and rush without order, dangerous situations are created. She added that if everyone had entered the venue in an orderly manner, the incident might not have happened.

She compared the situation to other types of events, saying crowd behaviour makes a difference.

“Let’s use the ‘Christianity’ concerts,” Pritty said.

She explained that she has never heard of such incidents happening there because “hakunanga watu wa ku occupy.”

Pritty noted that the issue often appears at certain shows where crowds rush to occupy space.

She said, “This happens mostly in such events as ‘asake’.” Her remarks focused on how uncontrolled movement and pressure within crowds can turn deadly.

Despite pointing out crowd mentality, Pritty also stressed that responsibility does not end there. She said those in charge of safety must still be held accountable.

“Mtu anafaa kulaumiwa ni the management,” she said, adding that people responsible for security should answer for what happened.

She explained that security teams play a key role in preventing chaos. Pritty said proper planning, clear movement paths, and firm crowd control could help stop similar tragedies in the future. She added that blaming only one side ignores the bigger picture.

Pritty ended her message by mourning the victim.

“RIP LAROJE,” she wrote, expressing sorrow over the loss of life.

Following the incident, Asake also released a statement addressing the tragedy. The singer confirmed the death of Karen Lojore and said the incident happened during his Nairobi show on December 20. He said the news left him shaken and heartbroken.

Asake said, “My heart goes out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Karen Lojore.” He added that his thoughts were with everyone affected and said the loss had weighed heavily on him since he learned about it.
