
Bongo Flava songstress Haitham has died

Tanzanian Singer and songwriter Haitham Kim has passed away after battling respiratory illness.
The musician died today at around 12 noon, at Temeke Referral hospital in Dar es Salaam where she had been admitted at the intensive care unit.

The mother of one died days after bongo artists started a fundraiser to help with the rising medical bills.
It is reported that Haitham had respiratory problems which started as a normal flu which escalated to a point where she had to use a ventilator to aid with the breathing.
Family and friends have continued expressing their grief and disbelief after losing the young and promising artist.
Her songs include: Wawa, Hakutaki, Dubai, I wish, Kitu Kizito...
Among Tanzanian musicians who have shared messages of condolences on social media are Nandy, Juma Jux, Ommy Dimpoz & Rosa Ree.
Condolences to the family and may her soul rest in peace.
