Tanzanian singer Marioo has issued a firm warning to individuals — including some public figures — who allegedly tried to interfere with his relationship while his girlfriend, Paula Kajala, was pregnant.

Speaking in a recent interview, the Dada hitmaker said several people attempted to flirt with or cause conflict in his relationship during that delicate time.

Marioo said the experience showed him who truly supported him and vowed to expose anyone who tries to meddle again.

“When my girlfriend was pregnant, many people — even public figures — tried to interfere. Some were trying to get close to her in ways that weren’t right,” Marioo said. “But I thank her for standing strong. She remained loyal and never gave in.”

Marioo praised Paula for her resilience and composure, describing her as the anchor that kept their relationship strong amid outside pressure. He said the ordeal deepened their bond and helped him see love in a more mature way.

“This time, I won’t stay quiet,” he warned. “If anyone tries to flirt with or sabotage my relationship again, I will mention their names publicly.”

Paula Kajala, Marioo’s girlfriend, is no stranger to the spotlight. She previously had a high-profile, on-and-off relationship with fellow Bongo Flava star Rayvanny that lasted for about two years, beginning in early 2021.

Their romance drew massive public attention, partly because of the controversy surrounding Rayvanny’s former boss Harmonize, who was dating Paula’s mother, Frida Kajala, and was also accused of pursuing Paula.

The complicated web of relationships led to numerous public confrontations and viral headlines.

Paula and Rayvanny eventually broke up in September 2022, with Rayvanny confirming the split and warning fans “not to let love confuse them.”

Their breakup was marked by accusations of infidelity and emotional betrayal shared across social media.

After the breakup, Paula began dating Marioo in May 2023, and the two have since built a stable relationship away from public drama.

The couple welcomed their first child in May 2024, marking a new chapter in their lives. As of October 2025, the two appear deeply committed to each other and have openly embraced parenthood.
