Bongo Flava star Zuhura Othman, alias Zuchu, has shared insights into her introverted nature and the lifestyle choices that stem from it, revealing a side of her life rarely seen by fans.

Speaking during an interview with a local Kenyan radio station on Friday, August 29, 2025, she revealed that she rarely goes out and prefers spending most of her time at home, creating a personal space where she can recharge away from the public eye.

The ‘Amanda’ crooner added that her introverted lifestyle allows her to focus on her music and personal growth without the distractions of constant social engagements.

“I am an introvert, and I do not go out often. I spend almost all my time at home. Even if you travelled for a whole week, you would still find me at home because I rarely go out. And it helps me much,” she said.

The songstress noted that her introversion influences not only her daily routine but also the way she approaches her performances, favouring deeper connections with her audience over high-energy party hits.

“I am like that; I don’t go anywhere. I love to stay at home and be by myself and do my own stuff,” she added.

She also revealed that she particularly enjoys love songs, with the track ‘Honey’ standing out as a fan favourite that she would perform anywhere.

In the Q&A session, Zuchu also said that these musical choices mirror her personal temperament, adding that she has a preference for intimacy and authenticity over flashy spectacle.

The songbird noted that while she already enjoys fame, she prioritises financial stability, approaching her career with a grounded and pragmatic mindset.

“I am like that; I don’t go anywhere. I prioritise money over fame because I already have fame,” she said.

She said she maintains a distinct fashion style that complements her introverted personality, favouring comfortable, baggy clothing and oversized tees that allow her to feel at ease both on and off stage.
