Comedian Nasra Yusuff Resigns as Vice Chairperson for Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya
Former Churchill Show comedian Nasra Yusuff has officially resigned from her role as the Vice Chairperson of the Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya.
In a statement issued on 6th June 22025, Nasra mentioned that it was not an easy decision to make. She further stated that alignment and conviction are more important than titles or positions.
“Earlier today, I officially stepped down from my role as Vice Chairperson of the Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya.
This was not an easy decision, but it was one I made after deep personal reflection. Sometimes, alignment and conviction are more important than titles or positions. I believe in serving from a place of peace, purpose, and authenticity and right now, stepping back feels like the most honest thing to do,” Nasra said.
Yusuff went on to say that she is grateful for the support she received from creatives when she was appointed to the position.
“I recently shared my excitement about being the Vice Chairperson of the Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya. However, after deep reflection, I would like to share that I have decided to step back from the role. Asanteni for the opportunity, and I wish the board all the best moving forward,” comedian Nasra Yusuf added.
“I'm grateful for the support many of you showed me during my appointment. That encouragement never went unnoticed, and I carry it with me as I continue to advocate for creatives in other meaningful ways. I wish the association and its leadership all the best,”.
The leadership for the Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya was unveiled a few weeks ago.
