Milly Chebby's Life Threatening Preganancy: They Had to Take Out My Fallopian Tube

Content creator Milly Chebby, Terence Creative's wife, recently revealed a harrowing experience with an ectopic pregnancy, days after a hospital visit during a family vacation in Mombasa.

While initially vague about the surgery, Chebby now shared the painful details. The ordeal began with severe cramps at their hotel. Initially, Chebby, on family planning, dismissed the discomfort.

However, persistent pain prompted her gynecologist to advise a pregnancy test. Hesitant but compliant, Chebby discovered she was pregnant.

Terence was overjoyed at the prospect of another child, but their happiness was fleeting. Scans revealed an ectopic pregnancy, where the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, typically in a fallopian tube. This life-threatening condition necessitates immediate medical intervention.

Chebby recounted the emotional shock: "It took me like an hour and everything turned around. When I took the test, he did not even know. The internal bleeding was so bad. I gave him the kit, and he was excited. I was looking at him and thinking, I wish he knew," she said, noting Terence's genuine excitement while she was aware of the danger. "You were excited for real. The bleeding had started three days before. I thought it was normal cramps."

Doctors found significant internal bleeding and a severely damaged left fallopian tube, requiring its surgical removal.

"It was the left fallopian tube. Such a tube is a sick tube, so we had to remove it. Just the left one. The right was okay," the doctor confirmed.

Despite the trauma, Terence remained optimistic, expressing gratitude for their daughter, Milla. "At least I thought we are not yet 40 years old. We still have time to take care of another child," he said, holding onto hope for their future family.

This isn't Chebby's first time sharing her pregnancy and motherhood struggles. In November 2023, they openly discussed her fears of another pregnancy on their YouTube channel.

Chebby voiced her anxieties about the physical and emotional toll, recalling the isolation of early motherhood. "Sometimes I tell myself, let me go remove the coil, and then I ask myself who will go through that process again? Do I even have the strength?" Chebby admitted.

"I am not saying that my second baby might have anything, but it gave me fear. Being a first-time mum, it’s two weeks on your own. I used to think I did not have the strength."

Previously, in May 2022, Milly revealed her ongoing recovery from a miscarriage and difficult pregnancy with Milla, including postpartum challenges.

"I had a miscarriage, and my baby’s pregnancy was such a rough journey," she shared. "Then I got my baby (Milla), and she got sick. I have not recovered from postpartum, cracked nipples, and so on." Chebby stressed the need for both emotional and physical healing before considering another child.

During their November 2023 discussion, Terence also addressed criticism for carrying Chebby's handbag, viewing it as an opportunity to challenge gender stereotypes.

"It’s automatic that I have always wanted to help. But also, I have taken it as a campaign against male chauvinism.

Men and women, and the diverse cultures of Kenya, should refrain from raising boys to disrespect women," 1 he stated.

He urged parents to reconsider harmful traditional teachings that devalue women's input. "Such practices contribute to chauvinism and can lead to gender-based violence," he warned, advocating for a society that rejects male superiority
