Betty Bayo's Hubby Hiram Vows To Protect Her Kids

Betty Bayo's Hubby Hiram Vows To Protect Her Kids

Celebrated gospel singer Betty Bayo’s husband, Hiram Gitau, also known as Tash, has delivered a deeply emotional tribute during her memorial service, promising to honour her memory by loving and protecting her two children, Sky and Danny, for the rest of his life.

During a service on Sunday, November 16, 2025, held at Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) in Kiambu Town, Tash, visibly heartbroken, read a heartfelt letter he had written to the late gospel singer, describing their love as a second chance God placed gently in their hands.

He went on to assure Betty that her children would remain at the centre of his devotion.

“As I write this final letter to you, I find myself repeating again and again to the love that transformed both our lives. Ours was not just love; it was a turning point and a second chance that God blessed gently in our hands,” Tash’s tribute reads in part.

“Sky and Danny will remain the centre of my devotion and the living continuation of your light, everything you dreamed for them and everything you instilled in them, I will honour.”

In addition, Tash promised that nothing the children desire or hope for will go unfulfilled under his care.

“They will be loved fiercely and protected always, and nothing they desire, nothing they hope for, will go uncommitted or undone,” he added.

“I will honour you in life; I live in the children we raised.”

It is worth noting that the two children are from Betty Bayo’s first marriage to Pastor Victor Kanyari.

He also reflected on the memories they created, saying Betty gave him companionship that shaped him and love that still lives within him.

One of the most emotional moments in his tribute was when he recalled their traditional Kikuyu wedding, held on December 17, 2021.

“You gave me memories that time cannot fade, a companionship that shaped me and a love that continues to breathe inside those spaces that you once filled,” Tash stated.

“I will never forget the day that we stood together on December 17th, 2021, during our Kikuyu traditional wedding. In that moment, I knew I was not only marrying a woman, but I was joining my life with a soul filled with purpose, warmth, and compassion.”

Tash further promised to honour Betty in the life she left behind, especially through the children they raised together.
